The Karhu Ikoni Trail running shoe features an AeroFoam Trail midsole for high-performance cushioning without losing direct contact with the ground. The combination of the 5mm offset (difference in heel-forefoot height) and unique trail Fulcrum provides subtle envelopment of the foot and forward momentum on both flat and rolling trails. The outsole of the KARHU Ikoni Trail features the M- and T-grip pattern as tread, the M-grip provides security during climbing and descending and the T-grip provides traction in wet conditions. An integrated toe bumper provides protection for your foot should it come into contact with rocks or roots. The fit of the trail shoe is a fraction wider at the forefoot than KARHU's running shoes for the asphalt, the toes can move more freely.
